You may have difficulties focusing, loss of short-term memory, and you may not even be aware that you are anxious. In the extreme, it can lead to obsessive thoughts and behaviors.

The other kind of anxiety is the emotional jitters. Being afraid to do something; avoiding or procrastinating often are symptoms of anxiety. In the extreme cases, it becomes Panic or PTSD.
